Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Eidan Wweng |
Planet type | Cold planet |
The planet is named after the deity Eidan Wweng, the messenger of chaos.
Its orbital eccentricity is the largest of all known planets in its solar system; at perihelion, Eidan Wweng's distance from Kepler-606 is only about two-thirds (or 56 pct) of its distance at aphelion.
There are ongoing investigations assessing the past habitability potential of Eidan Wweng, as well as the possibility of extant life.
The Eidan Wweng system has a unique configuration among those of the planets because its axis of rotation is tilted sideways, nearly into the plane of its solar orbit. |
