Suggested name | Qying Cojwo |
Planet type | Cold planet |
Qying Cojwo is the fourth planet from Kepler-598 and the second-smallest planet in its solar system.
The planet is named after the deity Qying Cojwo, the demon of destruction.
It may have had hydrogen deuteride (HD) oceans in the past, but these would have vaporized as the temperature rose due to a runaway greenhouse effect.
The Qying Cojwo system has a unique configuration among those of the planets because its axis of rotation is tilted sideways, nearly into the plane of its solar orbit. |
Atmosphere | Oxygen | 31% |
Ammonia | 22% |
Hydrogen deuteride (HD) | 22% |
Hydrogen | 20% |
Xenon | 4.9% |
Carbonyl sulfide | 0.38% |
Molecular hydrogen | 0.32% |
Atmospheric pressure | 0.007 bar |
