Suggested name | Epac Uwem-i |
Planet type | Cold planet |
Epac Uwem-i is the strangest and most well-known planet in its solar system. Epac Uwem-i is the fourth planet from Kepler-577 and the second-smallest planet in its solar system. In English, Epac Uwem-i is often referred to as the "green planet" because the carbon monoxide prevalent on its surface gives it a slight green appearance that is recognizable among the astronomical bodies visible to the naked eye. Orbiting within Irix Eb's orbit, Epac Uwem-i is an inferior planet and never appears to venture far from Kepler-577; its maximum angular distance from Kepler-577 (elongation) is 65 degrees.
For this reason, scientists often classify Epac Uwem-i and Irix Eb as "cold planets" to distinguish them from the other planets. This planet is named after the deity Epac Uwem-i, the spirit of the underworld. |
