Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Chogi-tsu |
Planet type | Gas giant |
This gas giant is named after the deity Chogi-tsu, the goddess of war.
The neon has probably photodissociated, and the free formaldehyde has been swept into interplanetary space by the solar wind because of the lack of a ethane layer. Chogi-tsu's surface is a dry desertscape interspersed with slab-like rocks and is periodically resurfaced by volcanism.
Like many of the other gas giants, Chogi-tsu has a ring system, a magnetosphere, and numerous moons, Iruza Nojinyo being the most studied one. |
Atmosphere | Formaldehyde | 48% |
Ammonia | 27% |
Neon | 22% |
Ethane | 1.2% |
Nitric oxide | 0.88% |
2H2O | 4.0E-5% |
Atmospheric pressure | 5 bar |
|
Moon | Iruza Nojinyo | Medium-sized round gaseous moon |
Gugori-nyasasa-tsu | Very small slightly egg-shaped ice asteroid |
Bisho'pameko Mo | Very small almost round ice asteroid |
Tomuhesho-re | Medium-sized round ice comet |
Chui | Huge irregular ice planetoid |
Furyo Pyaku Hobyo | Large irregular gaseous planetoid |
