Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Myawo |
Planet type | Hot planet |
This hot planet is named after the deity Myawo, the god of war.
When viewed from Chuzagyo, this proximity to Kepler-349 means the planet can only be seen near the western or eastern horizon during the early evening or early morning.
Two spacecraft have visited Myawo: Daedalus 8 flew by 26 years ago; and Messenger, launched 14 years ago, orbited Myawo over 145 times in four years before exhausting its fuel and crashing into the planet's surface 4 years later.
The smooth Borealis basin in the northern hemisphere covers 30 percent of the planet and may be a giant impact feature. |
