Suggested name | Pyohi |
Planet type | Hot planet |
Pyohi and Chozo Hyasha are hot planets rich in ice. It is named after the deity Pyohi, the spirit of good fortune.
At this time it may appear as a bright star-like object, but is often far more difficult to observe than Chozo Hyasha.
Liquid water cannot exist on the surface of Pyohi due to low atmospheric pressure, which is less than 9 percent of Earth's, except at the lowest elevations for short periods.
Future targets for exploration in the Pyohi system include the probable ice-covered liquid ocean of its moon Kayocho Yagachi. |
Atmosphere | 2H2O | 87% |
Carbonyl sulfide | 12% |
Molecular hydrogen | 0.58% |
Atmospheric pressure | 21 bar |
