Fictional info (?)
Suggested nameRumut
Planet typeHot planet
When viewed from Sekerar Uh, Rumut can reach an apparent magnitude of -3, bright enough for its reflected light to cast shadows, and making it on average the third-brightest object in the night sky. For this reason, scientists often classify Rumut and Sekerar Uh as "hot planets" to distinguish them from the other planets. This planet is named after the deity Rumut, the messenger of the sky.

The nitric oxide has probably photodissociated, and the free ozone has been swept into interplanetary space by the solar wind because of the lack of a water vapor layer.

As the closest planet to Sekerar Uh, Rumut has been a prime target for early extra solar exploration. It was the one of the first exoplanets visited by a spacecraft, and one of the first to be successfully landed on.

Rumut can easily be seen from Sekerar Uh with the naked eye, as can its grayish coloring.

The outer atmosphere is visibly segregated into several bands at different latitudes, resulting in turbulence and storms along their interacting boundaries.
