Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Resaebe'thys |
Planet type | Small cold gas planet |
It is named after the deity Resaebe'thys, the god of war.
At this time it may appear as a bright star-like object, but is often far more difficult to observe than Tarko.
Its orbital eccentricity is the largest of all known planets in its solar system; at perihelion, Resaebe'thys's distance from Kepler-278 is only about two-thirds (or 102 pct) of its distance at aphelion.
It was the one of the first exoplanets visited by a spacecraft, and one of the first to be successfully landed on. |
