Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Chapigya |
Planet type | Planet |
It is the coldest planetary atmosphere in its solar system, with a minimum temperature of 80°K (-193°C), and has a complex, layered cloud structure with water thought to make up the lowest clouds, and carbon dioxide the uppermost layer of clouds.
It has the densest atmosphere of any planets, consisting of huge amounts of carbon dioxide. It may have had oxygen oceans in the past, but these would have vaporized as the temperature rose due to a runaway greenhouse effect. |
Estimated population | 600000000 |
Atmosphere | Carbon dioxide | 85% |
Water | 11% |
Oxygen | 3.3% |
Methane | 0.0043% |
