Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Bauti Mabtay |
Planet type | Cold planet |
Its orbital period around Kepler-1701 of 170 earth days is the shortest of all the planets in its solar system. In English, Bauti Mabtay is often referred to as the "red planet" because the hydrogen chloride prevalent on its surface gives it a scary red appearance that is unusual among the astronomical bodies visible to the naked eye.
The planet is named after the deity Bauti Mabtay, the messenger of the sky.
Bauti Mabtay is a cold planet and is sometimes called Earth's "sister planet" because of their similar size, mass, proximity to Kepler-1701, and bulk composition.
As the closest planet to Kaeuan, Bauti Mabtay has been a prime target for early interplanetary exploration.
Bauti Mabtay is the site of Titanic Gravis, the tallest volcano and second-highest known mountain in its solar system, and of Valles Marineris, one of the largest canyons in its solar system.
Its apparent magnitude reaches -3, which is surpassed only by Kaeuan, Decar, and Kepler-1701.
The largest moon, Kinde'lispon, has a diameter greater than that of the planet Mars. |
