Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Lateymir Kivi |
Planet type | Warm planet |
Lateymir Kivi's atmosphere is similar to Anhali Pros's in its primary composition of ammonia and ammonium hydrosulfide (NH4SH), but it contains more "ices" such as water, ammonia, and methane, along with traces of other hydrocarbons. The planet is named after the deity Lateymir Kivi, the messenger of the sky.
Like Anhali Pros, Lateymir Kivi has been orbiting Kepler-166 for @STARAGE billion years, and never moves more than 12 degrees away from Kepler-166.
Lateymir Kivi is by far the hottest planet in its solar system, with a mean surface temperature of 457°K (184°C).
The volume of water ice in the south polar ice cap, if melted, would be sufficient to cover the entire planetary surface to a depth of 10 meters. |
Atmosphere | Ammonia | 66% |
Ammonium hydrosulfide (NH4SH) | 29% |
Ethane | 4.7% |
