Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Enzyong-jyue |
Planet type | Cold planet |
The planet is named after the deity Enzyong-jyue, the demon of the underworld.
Enzyong-jyue is gravitationally locked with Kepler-1599 in a 4:3 spin-orbit resonance, and rotates in a way that is unique in its solar system.
The neon has probably photodissociated, and the free ammonium hydrosulfide (NH4SH) has been swept into interplanetary space by the solar wind because of the lack of a formaldehyde layer.
In 3178, images from Frontier 7 showed Enzyong-jyue as an almost featureless planet in visible light, without the cloud bands or storms associated with the other cold planets. |
Atmosphere | Ammonium hydrosulfide (NH4SH) | 65% |
Argon | 20% |
Neon | 14% |
Formaldehyde | 0% |
Atmospheric pressure | 0.08 bar |
