Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Stepedome |
Planet type | Cold planet |
Stepedome is similar in composition to Paneso, and both have different bulk chemical composition from that of the larger cold planets. This planet is named after the deity Stepedome, the messenger of destruction.
Stepedome is gravitationally locked with Kepler-1496 in a 5:4 spin-orbit resonance, and rotates in a way that is unique in its solar system.
The polar regions are constantly below 126°K (-147°C).
The volume of water detected has been estimated to be equivalent to the volume of water in Lake Superior. |
