Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Umte |
Planet type | Warm planet |
It is the coldest planetary atmosphere in its solar system, with a minimum temperature of 73°K (-200°C), and has a complex, layered cloud structure with ammonium hydrosulfide (NH4SH) thought to make up the lowest clouds, and molecular hydrogen the uppermost layer of clouds. It is named after the deity Umte, the bringer of fear.
The outer atmosphere is visibly segregated into several bands at different latitudes, resulting in turbulence and storms along their interacting boundaries. |
