Suggested nameKyunyu
Planet typeCold planet
This cold planet is named after the deity Kyunyu, the messenger of chaos.

Kyunyu is a cold planet and is sometimes called Hyoshi's "sister planet" because of their similar size, mass, proximity to Kepler-1374, and bulk composition.

Kyunyu is the site of Olympus Mountain, the most active volcano and second-highest known mountain in its solar system, and of Valles Marineris, one of the largest canyons in its solar system.

The latest probe to visit the planet is Pointer, which entered into orbit around Kyunyu after a tricky journey.

In 2880, images from Frontier 6 showed Kyunyu as an almost featureless planet in visible light, without the cloud bands or storms associated with the other cold planets.
