Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Yyou Ceiz Wei |
Planet type | Cold planet |
It is the second-brightest natural object in the night sky after Ying-j, reaching an apparent magnitude of -5 - bright enough to cast shadows at night and, often, visible to the naked eye in broad daylight.
For this reason, scientists often classify Yyou Ceiz Wei and Ying-j as "cold planets" to distinguish them from the other planets. It is named after the deity Yyou Ceiz Wei, the bringer of the sky.
Yyou Ceiz Wei is gravitationally locked with Kepler-1370 in a 5:4 spin-orbit resonance, and rotates in a way that is unique in its solar system.
Yyou Ceiz Wei's surface is a barren desertscape interspersed with slab-like rocks and is periodically resurfaced by volcanism.
The outer atmosphere is visibly segregated into several bands at different latitudes, resulting in turbulence and storms along their interacting boundaries. |
