Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Nivare |
Planet type | Cold planet |
Nivare is similar in composition to Reru, and both have different bulk chemical composition from that of the larger cold planets. Nivare's atmosphere is similar to Reru's in its primary composition of ammonia and 2H2O, but it contains more "ices" such as water, ammonia, and methane, along with traces of other hydrocarbons. It is the coldest planetary atmosphere in its solar system, with a minimum temperature of 53°K (-220°C), and has a complex, layered cloud structure with 2H2O thought to make up the lowest clouds, and ammonia the uppermost layer of clouds. This cold planet is named after the deity Nivare, the creator of nature.
Its north and south poles, therefore, lie where most other planets have their equators. |
