Suggested name | Dome Draeu |
Planet type | Hot planet |
The planet is named after the deity Dome Draeu, the creator of prosperity.
Dome Draeu is by far the hottest planet in its solar system, with a mean surface temperature of 522°K (249°C). Dome Draeu's surface is a barren desertscape interspersed with slab-like rocks and is periodically resurfaced by volcanism.
The volume of water detected has been estimated to be equivalent to the volume of water in Lake Superior.
Like many of the other hot planets, Dome Draeu has a ring system, a magnetosphere, and numerous moons, Tonthe-ska being the most studied one. Observations from Earth have shown seasonal change and increased weather activity as Dome Draeu approached its equinox 7 years ago. |
