Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Ryanya-samo |
Planet type | Hot gas giant |
It has the longest rotation period (445 days) of any planet in its solar system and rotates in the opposite direction to most other planets.
The planet is named after the deity Ryanya-samo, the demon of chaos.
Ryanya-samo's axis has the smallest tilt of any of its solar system's planets.
The carbon monoxide has probably photodissociated, and the free water vapor has been swept into interplanetary space by the solar wind because of the lack of a molecular hydrogen layer.
The latest probe to visit the planet is Racer, which entered into orbit around Ryanya-samo after a troublesome voyage. |
