Suggested namePerlassa Me
Planet typeCold planet
Perlassa Me is the oldest planet known belonging to K2-352 and one of the largest in its solar system. It is named after the deity Perlassa Me, the spirit of chaos.

As seen from K2-352, in a frame of reference that rotates with the orbital motion, it appears to rotate only once every two years. An observer on Perlassa Me would therefore see only one sunrise every four years.

Perlassa Me is a cold planet and is sometimes called Carcisco Ao's "sister planet" because of their similar size, mass, proximity to K2-352, and bulk composition. The formaldehyde has probably photodissociated, and the free nitric oxide has been swept into interplanetary space by the solar wind because of the lack of a oxygen layer.

Perlassa Me can easily be seen from Carcisco Ao with the naked eye, as can its blackish coloring. Its apparent magnitude reaches -3, which is surpassed only by Carcisco Ao, Nusophe, and K2-352.

Observations from Earth have shown seasonal change and increased weather activity as Perlassa Me approached its equinox 8 years ago.
