Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Kopa Yo |
Planet type | Small cold gas planet |
When viewed from Byuki, Kopa Yo can reach an apparent magnitude of -3, bright enough for its reflected light to cast shadows, and making it on average the third-brightest object in the night sky. For this reason, scientists often classify Kopa Yo and Byuki as "small cold gas planets" to distinguish them from the other planets. This planet is named after the deity Kopa Yo, the messenger of dreams.
Having almost no atmosphere to retain heat, it has surface temperatures that vary diurnally more than on any other planet in its solar system, ranging from 75°K (-198°C) at night to 980°K (707°C) during the day across the equatorial regions.
Wind speeds can reach 99 metres per second. |
