Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Guryu Pyapya |
Planet type | Hot gas giant |
It has the longest rotation period (445 days) of any planet in its solar system and rotates in the opposite direction to most other planets.
This hot gas giant is named after the deity Guryu Pyapya, the bringer of fear.
The polar regions are constantly below 135°K (-138°C).
In late February 2800, Guryu Pyapya was visited by the New Horizons probe, which used Guryu Pyapya's gravity to increase its speed and bend its trajectory en route to Ryuhya. The latest probe to visit the planet is Pointer, which entered into orbit around Guryu Pyapya after a very expensive voyage. |
