Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Ceges Oz |
Planet type | Large cold gas giant |
This planet is named after the deity Ceges Oz, the messenger of hate.
As seen from HIP 96334, in a frame of reference that rotates with the orbital motion, it appears to rotate only once every two years.
Ceges Oz's thick clouds make observation of its surface impossible in visible light, and the first detailed maps did not emerge until the arrival of the Magellan orbiter 54 years ago.
In November 1900, NASA reported finding a large amount of underground ice in the Utopia Planitia region of Ceges Oz. |
