Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Shaosh Ai |
Planet type | Cold planet |
Its orbital period around HD 86226 of 1600 earth days is the shortest of all the planets in its solar system.
This planet is named after the deity Shaosh Ai, the demon of nature.
When viewed from Wanzhyuanf, this proximity to HD 86226 means the planet can only be seen near the western or eastern horizon during the early evening or early morning.
Its orbital eccentricity is the largest of all known planets in its solar system; at perihelion, Shaosh Ai's distance from HD 86226 is only about two-thirds (or 79 pct) of its distance at aphelion.
It is radically different from Wanzhyuanf in other respects.
Plans have been proposed for rovers or more complex missions, but they are hindered by Shaosh Ai's hostile surface conditions.
A prominent result is the "great blue spot", a giant storm that is known to have existed for centuries since it was first seen by telescope.
Like a few of the other cold planets, Shaosh Ai has a ring system, a magnetosphere, and numerous moons, Yunzh Yegei-jwen being the most studied one. |
