Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Ouqye |
Planet type | Planet |
This planet is named after the deity Ouqye, the god of prosperity.
As seen from HD 7924, in a frame of reference that rotates with the orbital motion, it appears to rotate only once every two years.
Ouqye's surface is a arid desertscape interspersed with slab-like rocks and is periodically resurfaced by volcanism.
Its north and south poles, therefore, lie where most other planets have their equators. Observations from Earth have shown seasonal change and increased weather activity as Ouqye approached its equinox 3 years ago. |
