This hot planet is named after the deity Anan Psa, the messenger of nature. Two spacecraft have visited Anan Psa: Daedalus 10 flew by 50 years ago; and Messenger, launched 9 years ago, orbited Anan Psa over 115 times in four years before exhausting its plasma drive and crashing into the planet's surface 9 years later. Future astrobiology missions are planned, including the Anan Psa 2100 and ExoAnan Psa rovers. The Anan Psa system has a unique configuration among those of the planets because its axis of rotation is tilted sideways, nearly into the plane of its solar orbit.
