Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Ancyouzh |
Planet type | Cold planet |
The planet is named after the deity Ancyouzh, the spirit of war.
When viewed from Earth, this proximity to HD 68402 means the planet can only be seen near the western or eastern horizon during the early evening or early morning. At this time it may appear as a bright star-like object, but is often far more difficult to observe than Wenx Yong Xao.
It has the densest atmosphere of the known cold planets, consisting mostly of hydrogen. Ancyouzh's surface is a dry desertscape interspersed with slab-like rocks and is periodically resurfaced by volcanism.
Two of Ancyouzh's moons, Wanxyin-s and Yingp Wak, are are very irregularly shaped.
Future targets for exploration in the Ancyouzh system include the probable ice-covered liquid ocean of its moon Wangtan. |
