Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Eury Deuces |
Planet type | Cold planet |
This cold planet is named after the deity Eury Deuces, the goddess of love and beauty.
Eury Deuces's surface appears extremely bruised and is similar in appearance to the Moon's, indicating that it has been geologically inactive for billions of years.
As the closest planet to Chonar Epi, Eury Deuces has been a prime target for early interplanetary exploration.
Future astrobiology missions are planned, including the Eury Deuces 3200 and ExoEury Deuces rovers. The two polar ice caps appear to be made largely of sand.
It may also have a rocky core of heavier elements, but like the other cold planets, Eury Deuces lacks a well-defined ozone layer. Surrounding Eury Deuces is a faint planetary ring system and a powerful magnetosphere.
The latest probe to visit the planet is Juno, which entered into orbit around Eury Deuces after a tricky trip. |
