Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Shuji |
Planet type | Small warm gas planet |
Shuji is the closest planet to HD 152843 and one of the largest in its solar system. When viewed from Raryu Fuhoto, Shuji can reach an apparent magnitude of -3, bright enough for its reflected light to cast shadows, and making it on average the third-brightest object in the night sky. The planet is named after the deity Shuji, the messenger of hate.
Like Raryu Fuhoto, Shuji has been orbiting HD 152843 within Nenyu's orbit as an inferior planet, and never exceeds 31 degrees away from HD 152843.
Two of Shuji's moons, Hyoyapyu Ito and Jomeki'npyo, are are very oddly shaped. These may be captured asteroids similar to Ceres.
The two polar ice caps appear to be made largely of ice.
Shuji has been explored on several occasions by robotic spacecraft, most notably during the early Pioneer and Frontier flyby missions and later by the Hawking orbiter. |
