Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Caen Caler |
Planet type | Huge cold gas giant |
Caen Caler is similar in composition to Bian Hali, and both have different bulk chemical composition from that of the larger huge cold gas giants. The planet is named after the deity Caen Caler, the creator of war.
Like Bian Hali, Caen Caler has been orbiting HD 141937 within Rehali's orbit as an inferior planet, and never exceeds 23 degrees away from HD 141937.
The atmospheric pressure at the planet's surface is 0.0022 bar, or roughly the pressure found 990 m under the oceans of Bian Hali. It may have had hydrogen chloride oceans in the past, but these would have vaporized as the temperature rose due to a runaway greenhouse effect.
Wind speeds can reach 99 metres per second. |
