Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Kyuposhu |
Planet type | Hot gas giant |
It is named after the deity Kyuposhu, the creator of chaos.
As seen relative to the fixed stars, it rotates on its axis exactly four times for every five revolutions it makes around HATS-60.
Its orbital eccentricity is the largest of all known planets in its solar system; at perihelion, Kyuposhu's distance from HATS-60 is only about two-thirds (or 99 pct) of its distance at aphelion.
In November 3300, NASA reported finding a large amount of underground ice in the Utopia Planitia region of Kyuposhu.
Future targets for exploration in the Kyuposhu system include the probable ice-covered liquid ocean of its moon Enewabi Dohogu. |
