Suggested name | Etowew-ydipu |
Planet type | Hot gas giant |
In English, Etowew-ydipu is often referred to as the "red planet" because the hydrogen prevalent on its surface gives it a dark red appearance that is unusual among the astronomical bodies visible to the naked eye.
This planet is named after the deity Etowew-ydipu, the messenger of prosperity.
Etowew-ydipu is shrouded by an opaque layer of highly reflective clouds of sulfuric acid, preventing its surface from being seen from space in visible light.
Plans have been proposed for rovers or more complex missions, but they are hindered by Etowew-ydipu's hazardous precipitation.
Its north and south poles, therefore, lie where most other planets have their equators. |
