Suggested name | Engryuan Fyou |
Planet type | Hot gas giant |
Engryuan Fyou is a terrestrial planet with a thin atmosphere, having surface features reminiscent both of the impact craters of the Moon and the valleys, deserts, and polar ice caps of Earth. Engryuan Fyou is orbiting Gaia-1 every 3 Earth days.
Engryuan Fyou has been known to astronomers since the beginning of the space age. It is named after the deity Engryuan Fyou, the goddess of the sea.
The polar regions are constantly below 216°K (-57°C).
Engryuan Fyou's dense atmosphere render observation of its surface impossible in ultraviolet light, and the first detailed maps did not emerge until the arrival of the Magellan orbiter 32 years ago.
Two of Engryuan Fyou's moons, Yuezh and Bying Qwaw-er, are are quite unusually shaped.
Engryuan Fyou is primarily composed of formaldehyde with a significant part of its mass being argon, though argon comprises only about a small amount of the number of molecules. |
