Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Bumonara |
Planet type | Hot planet |
The planet is named after the deity Bumonara, the bringer of the sky.
As the closest planet to Nhyaba, Bumonara has been a prime target for early extra solar exploration.
The volume of water detected has been estimated to be equivalent to the volume of water in Earth's oceans.
Bumonara can easily be seen from Nhyaba with the naked eye, as can its grayish coloring.
In late February 1200, Bumonara was visited by the New Horizons probe, which used Bumonara's gravity to increase its speed and bend its trajectory en route to Nhyaba.
In 3277, images from Wayfinder 6 showed Bumonara as an almost featureless planet in visible light, without the cloud bands or storms associated with the other hot planets. |
