Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Rokino Huxut |
Planet type | Huge hot gas giant |
When viewed from Ekod, Rokino Huxut can reach an apparent magnitude of -3, bright enough for its reflected light to cast shadows, and making it on average the third-brightest object in the night sky. For this reason, scientists often classify Rokino Huxut and Ekod as "huge hot gas giants" to distinguish them from the other planets. This huge hot gas giant is named after the deity Rokino Huxut, the demon of chaos.
As the closest planet to Ekod, Rokino Huxut has been a prime target for early extra solar exploration.
There are ongoing investigations assessing the future terraforming potential of Rokino Huxut, as well as the possibility of extant life. The volume of water ice in the south polar ice cap, if melted, would be sufficient to cover the entire planetary surface to a depth of 14 meters.
The inhospitable oceans are mostly occupied by passive minded yet poisonous bacteria known as "Uleh". They feed in the air by killing the Suveca Nep during the day. The Uleh are related to the Pural but have scales and vary in length from 80 to 130 cm. The Uleh are able to live at temperatures from -80 to -40°C and drought. |
