Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Wyunjya |
Planet type | Huge cold gas giant |
The planet telescopically displays the complete range of phases, similar to Venus and the Moon, as it moves in its inner orbit relative to @STARNAME, which reoccurs over the so-called synodic period approximately every 186 days.
It may have had water oceans in the past, but these would have vaporized as the temperature rose due to a runaway greenhouse effect.
Because of its fast rotation, the planet's shape is that of an oblate spheroid (it has a slight but noticeable bulge around the equator).
The oceans are mostly known for its large primordial carnivores, the "Gwayyi Qyou", which feed by consuming smaller pray. Most of them are somewhat related to Cyouyeir but have fur and vary in size from 70 to 160 cm. Gwayyi Qyou can withstand temperatures from -60 to -20°C and to some degree ultra violet light which is common on this planet. |
