Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Aomunorix |
Planet type | Huge cold gas giant |
Aomunorix has been known to astronomers since antiquity. It is named after the deity Aomunorix, the bringer of the underworld.
Aomunorix's axis has the smallest tilt of any of its solar system's planets.
The Aomunorix system has a unique configuration among those of the planets because its axis of rotation is tilted sideways, nearly into the plane of its solar orbit. Observations from Earth have shown seasonal change and increased weather activity as Aomunorix approached its equinox 6 years ago. |
