Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Nera |
Planet type | Huge cold gas giant |
It is a huge cold gas giant planet with a mass one-thousandth that of @STARNAME, but two-and-a-half times that of all the other planets in its solar system combined. This planet is named after the deity Nera, the god of love and beauty.
When viewed from Earth, this proximity to @STARNAME means the planet can only be seen near the western or eastern horizon during the early evening or early morning.
Plans have been proposed for rovers or more complex missions, but they are hindered by Nera's hazardous precipitation.
Nera can easily be seen from Utuvi Gace with the naked eye, as can its greenish coloring.
The latest probe to visit the planet is Pointer, which entered into orbit around Nera after a very expensive ride. |
