Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Pooubisha |
Planet type | Cold planet |
Its orbital period around 1SWASP J1407 of 3700 earth days is the shortest of all the planets in its solar system.
This cold planet is named after the deity Pooubisha, the messenger of the sea.
An observer on Pooubisha would therefore see only one sunset every five years.
Pooubisha is shrouded by an opaque layer of highly reflective clouds of sulfuric acid, preventing its surface from being seen from space in visible light. It may have had hydrogen peroxide oceans in the past, but these would have vaporized as the temperature rose due to a runaway greenhouse effect.
The largest moon, Jiryo, has a diameter greater than that of the planet Neptune.
Like the other cold planets, Pooubisha has a ring system, a magnetosphere, and numerous moons, Byawo-ka being the least famous one. |
