Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Numishi-mya |
Planet type | Huge warm gas giant |
When viewed from Juwachi Resha, Numishi-mya can reach an apparent magnitude of -3, bright enough for its reflected light to cast shadows, and making it on average the third-brightest object in the night sky. This planet is named after the deity Numishi-mya, the bringer of fear.
The latest probe to visit the planet is Racer, which entered into orbit around Numishi-mya after a tricky trip.
The lovely oceans are crowded with dangerous stone-age herbivores, the "Mocho", that spend their life in the jungle by finding nourishment in plants. Mocho are related to the Zohiri but have scales and vary in length from 80 to 160 meters. Most Mocho are known to survive temperatures from 60 to 140°C and also the acidic environment which is common on Numishi-mya. |
