Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Aoce |
Planet type | Huge cold gas giant |
Having almost no atmosphere to retain heat, it has surface temperatures that vary diurnally more than on any other planet in its solar system, ranging from 95°K (-178°C) at night to 1225°K (952°C) during the day across the equatorial regions.
The ammonium hydrosulfide (NH4SH) has probably photodissociated, and the free ozone has been swept into interplanetary space by the solar wind because of the lack of a krypton layer.
Wind speeds can reach 158 metres per second. |
Atmosphere | Ozone | 50% |
Sulfur dioxide | 40% |
Ammonium hydrosulfide (NH4SH) | 5.9% |
