Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Osao |
Planet type | Cold planet |
In English, Osao is often referred to as the "white planet" because the helium prevalent on its surface gives it a slight white appearance that is distinctive among the astronomical bodies visible to the naked eye. Orbiting within Cenpwen-han's orbit, Osao is an inferior planet and never appears to venture far from HD 1605; its maximum angular distance from HD 1605 (elongation) is 29 degrees.
It is named after the deity Osao, the creator of chaos.
It is radically different from Earth in other respects. Osao is shrouded by an opaque layer of highly reflective clouds of sulfuric acid, preventing its surface from being seen from space in visible light. |
