Suggested name | Letech-wen |
Planet type | Planet |
It is the second-brightest natural object in the night sky after Jalang Gangc, reaching an apparent magnitude of -5 - bright enough to cast shadows at night and, sometimes, visible to the naked eye in broad daylight.
Letech-wen and Jalang Gangc are planets rich in iron. For this reason, scientists often classify Letech-wen and Jalang Gangc as "planets" to distinguish them from the other planets. Letech-wen's atmosphere is similar to Jalang Gangc's in its primary composition of 2H2O and hydrogen deuteride (HD), but it contains more "ices" such as water, ammonia, and methane, along with traces of other hydrocarbons. It is named after the deity Letech-wen, the bringer of the sky.
The atmospheric pressure at the planet's surface is 16 bar, or roughly the pressure found 1125 m under the oceans of Jalang Gangc.
As one of the most prominent objects in the sky, Letech-wen has been a major influence in native folklore for as long as records have existed. |
